Belo Horizonte presents a vibrant cultural schedule for the weekend, featuring major theater productions, scientific exhibitions, and live music. The highlight is the 51st Campanha de Popularização do Teatro, organized by the Sindicato dos Produtores de Artes Cênicas de Minas Gerais (Sinparc-MG). This initiative runs until February 8 and includes over 220 shows across the city and Betim.

Additionally, the Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil (CCBB BH) hosts the national premiere of the play 'Saudade'. The 51st Campanha de Popularização do Teatro has officially begun in Belo Horizonte and Betim. Organized by Sinparc-MG, the event aims to make theater accessible to a wider audience. The campaign features a diverse program including adult and children's shows, dance performances, and stand-up comedy.

The schedule runs until February 8 across various locations in the capital. In total, the event brings together more than 220 spectacles, comprising premieres and reappearances. Conceived and directed by Douglas Novais, the play features dramaturgy by Julia Cavalcanti and Paula Guerreiro. Inspired by the tale 'Pinguinho' by Viriato Correia, the production brings together 13 performers to depict life in a small village where death and memory intertwine. The play will remain in the cast until February 2, with performances from Friday to Sunday at 20:00. Ticket prices are R$ 30 for full admission and R$ 15 for half-price.

The hyper-realistic exhibition Human Bodies – Maravilhas do Corpo Humano is open in Belo Horizonte until March 15. The exhibition has been viewed by more than 40 million people in various countries. It features eight full human bodies, one animal body, and approximately 100 real organs preserved through the technique of plastination.

Occupying an area of 800 m², the show is distributed across seven thematic galleries. It guides the public through a journey of the skeletal, muscular, nervous, respiratory, digestive, and reproductive systems. The exhibition also addresses the impacts of diseases such as obesity, cancer, and smoking. The event is located at BH Shopping (BR-356, 3049 - Belvedere) and is open daily at 14:00.

For music and leisure, the Mercado de Origem in the Olhos d'Água neighborhood is hosting Samba de Verão. The event promises an afternoon of live samba music in a relaxed atmosphere.
