Two Men Found Dead in Caruaru with Cloned Plate

A double homicide was registered in Caruaru, Pernambuco, where two men were found dead inside a vehicle on the morning of January 1st. The victims, aged 28 and 33, were discovered on Rua Américo Vespúcio in the São Francisco neighborhood.

The car had been parked since the afternoon of December 31st and featured a cloned license plate. Residents contacted the Military Police after suspecting the vehicle might be stolen. The bodies were located in the late morning, and the car was partially obstructing the road with a broken window.

This administrative decision is based on the investigation's conclusion that the murder occurred on December 31st. Consequently, this incident contributes to a total of 97 homicides registered in Caruaru for the year 2025.
