Quick Summary
Xreal has turned up to CES 2026 with an updated version of its entry level Xreal One glasses, first launched at the end of 2024. The new model, dubbed the 1S, gets marginally better specs and $50 knocked from the asking price.
If you’re unfamiliar, One is a wearable spatial display that connects over USB-C to any compatible device including smartphones, tablets, laptops and consoles. It has two teeny-tiny displays in the eyecups that, when worn close to the eyes, trick your brain into thinking you’re looking at a big screen. The average would measure in at around 171 inches, but it’s possible to push the view to a screen closer to 500 inches if your eyes are capable of focusing that far.
At the same time, the company is launching the Xreal Neo, an external battery-cum-DisplayPort hub for your glasses. Inside you’ll find a 10,000mAh power bank to keep your glasses going for longer and, more importantly, offers better connection for your Switch consoles. That’s available as a standalone purchase for $99 which, like the new 1S, are ready to buy right now.
Xreal 1S: Upgraded Specs and Lower Price
Xreal has officially unveiled the 1S, the successor to the original Xreal One glasses. The changes are firmly in the welcome nip-and-tuck department, boosting many of the original’s key specs while lowering the cost.
The most significant visual upgrade involves the display technology. The previous 1080p screens have been swapped out for 1200p full HD. This increase in resolution is accompanied by a boost in brightness, moving from 600 nits on the old model to 700 nits here.
Field of view and aspect ratio have also seen improvements:
- The field of view has expanded from 50 degrees to 52 degrees.
- The aspect ratio has grown from 16x9 to 16x10.
Perhaps the most consumer-friendly change is the price adjustment. The original model launched at $499, but the new 1S is priced at $449, representing a $50 reduction.
The Xreal Neo: A Portable Hub for Gamers
Alongside the glasses, Xreal is launching the Xreal Neo, an external battery and DisplayPort hub. The device is designed to enhance the functionality of the glasses, specifically for users who want to game on the go.
The Neo houses a 10,000mAh power bank, which serves two purposes. First, it keeps the glasses running for extended periods. Second, and perhaps more importantly, it offers a better connection for Nintendo Switch consoles.
Previously, playing a Switch or Switch 2 with the glasses required hooking the console up to its own dock. The Neo eliminates the need to carry the bulky dock when playing out and about. The device is available as a standalone purchase for $99.
Availability and Pricing
Both the Xreal 1S and the Xreal Neo are ready to buy immediately following their announcement at CES 2026.

These products continue Xreal's push into the wearable spatial display market, offering entry-level options for consumers looking to experience personal cinema technology.
