The announcement follows a leak of the trailer earlier today, but the official release includes additional scenes and confirms key gameplay details. The centerpiece of the crossover is the introduction of a new playlist called Quints, which expands the standard battle royale squad size.

The event features the main cast of South Park, including Butters, Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny. A new animated short accompanies the announcement, showing the characters interacting with the game mechanics. The collaboration will run for one month starting this Friday, January 9.
