Man Arrested for Stabbing Brother During Fishing Trip

A 36-year-old man was arrested by the Military Police on Wednesday, December 24, following a violent altercation with his brother during a fishing expedition in Boa Vista. The incident occurred near the Rio Branco, where the suspect allegedly stabbed his 42-year-old brother multiple times.

The suspect was located in the São Bento neighborhood with a cut on his left hand. He was treated by the Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) before being taken into custody. According to the suspect, the conflict arose while the brothers were fishing, leading to a physical struggle. He claimed that his brother possessed a knife, leading him to defend himself with a machete.
