This new structure consolidates networks, assets, teams, and portfolios into three primary fronts: corporate solutions (B2B), retail (B2C), and a unit dedicated to innovation and technological development.

Following the merger, the company asserts that it operates more than 60,000 km of protected backbone infrastructure. This network spans the states of Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo, São Paulo, and Minas Gerais, supported by a high-capacity DWDM network and connections to major data centers in the region. The new network currently serves over 200 municipalities and interconnects the four capitals with the highest GDP in the country.

Strategic Focus and Security

In addition to expanding its physical infrastructure, Avança Participações is placing a strong emphasis on digital security. The company plans to utilize platforms for mitigating DDoS attacks, incorporating solutions such as Nokia Deepfield and Corero SmartWall, alongside other technologies.

Anderson Heringer, COO of the new structure, emphasized that the merger goes beyond a simple combination of assets. "Esta fusão vai muito além da soma de estruturas. Three Business Units 🏢

The holding company has organized its operations into three distinct business units to streamline its market approach:

1. Corporate, Wholesale, and Government (B2B)

This unit provides solutions for small, medium, and large companies, as well as public agencies. The portfolio includes DWDM connectivity, IP telephony, cloud services, cybersecurity, IoT, artificial intelligence, corporate networks, smart city projects, and 24-hour managed services. The merger aims to generate a high-capacity, resilient backbone to serve major operators in the sector.

2. Retail (B2C)

Currently present in over 15 cities in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, the company will unify approximately 80,000 residential subscribers. The projected goal is to reach 200,000 customers by the end of 2027 through the acquisition of other small and medium-sized providers in various regions.

3. Innovation and Technological Development Unit

This area is dedicated to the research, testing, and implementation of new technologies. Key focuses include 5G private networks, XGSPON (10 Giga), FTTR (Fiber-to-the-Room), FWA, Wi-Fi 7 and Wi-Fi 8, along with network automation, applied cybersecurity, advanced integrations, and immersive experiences.
