Man Executed Inside Ambulance in Canhotinho

The crime occurred on the evening of December 24, the day before Christmas. According to reports, the victim was inside an ambulance while being transported to a medical facility. He had initially been rescued by a medical team due to injuries sustained from a arma branca (white weapon/stabbing).

While the ambulance was en route, it was approached by two individuals traveling on a motocycle. The assailants intercepted the vehicle, and one of them entered the ambulance. The individual then shot the victim while he was lying on the stretcher.

The location of the attack was Canhotinho, a municipality situated in the Agreste zone of the state of Pernambuco.

The Polícia Civil released a statement regarding the homicide. Although the crime took place on Wednesday night, it was officially registered as a consummated homicide on Thursday, December 25. The registration was processed through the Delegacia de Garanhuns, which also serves the Agreste region.

Upon arrival at the scene, authorities found the victim with gunshot wounds inside the ambulance. The police have confirmed that the necessary procedures are underway.

A spokesperson for the police stated: "As investigações foram iniciadas e seguirão até a elucidação dos fatos" (Investigations have been initiated and will continue until the facts are clarified).

As of the latest reports, the identity of the victim has not been disclosed. The police have not released the name or age of the deceased male. The investigation remains active as authorities work to identify the perpetrators and the motive behind the attack.
