Double Fatality in Itapororoca: Woman Shot, Husband Dies

Authorities are investigating a tragic incident in the rural zone of Itapororoca, Paraíba, that left two people dead on Tuesday morning. The victim, identified as Fernanda Patrícia, was fatally shot inside the couple's residence.

The suspect, identified as her husband Rubenilson Santos da Silva, was found deceased at the scene. Police reports indicate that the husband committed suicide following the fatal shooting of his wife.

The crime occurred during the morning hours of Tuesday, January 13, within the privacy of the couple's home. According to police reports, Fernanda Patrícia was the victim of a fatal attack involving firearms. An autopsy report indicated that she sustained four gunshot wounds to the chest and head.

At the scene, authorities discovered the body of Rubenilson Santos da Silva. He had suffered a gunshot wound to the ear. Based on preliminary findings, investigators believe the husband took his own life immediately after killing his wife. The location of the bodies confirmed that the violence took place inside the dwelling where the couple resided.

The investigation is being led by the Civil Police of Paraíba (PCPB). Delegado Syvio Rabello provided details regarding the status of the inquiry. He confirmed that a police inquiry has been officially opened to reconstruct the sequence of events.

Investigators are currently working to establish the dynamics of the criminal action. The procedural steps outlined by the delegation include:

"We have opened a police inquiry to know the dynamics of the entire criminal action," the delegation stated.
