Quick Summary#

The Urevo SpaceWalk 5L is a new entry into the home fitness market, specifically targeting those who want to incorporate walking into their daily routine without a large financial commitment. The device is marketed as a highly accessible option for home use.

Its primary appeal lies in its affordability. The walking pad is priced lower than many competitors and even specific travel expenses, making it an attractive choice for budget-conscious consumers.

Affordable Home Fitness Solution#

The Urevo SpaceWalk 5L enters the market as a budget-friendly alternative to expensive gym equipment and travel. Designed for convenience, it allows users to walk while working or relaxing at home. The device is specifically noted for being cheaper than a round-trip ticket to hike in Iceland, highlighting its low cost of entry compared to outdoor adventure travel.

This walking pad addresses the needs of individuals seeking to maintain an active lifestyle amidst busy schedules. By offering a compact and affordable machine, Urevo provides a practical solution for those who cannot easily travel to gyms or natural hiking locations.

Design and Portability#

Compact design is a significant feature of the Urevo SpaceWalk 5L. It is engineered to fit easily into small living spaces, such as apartments or home offices. This portability ensures that users can store the device away when not in use, maintaining a clutter-free environment.

The focus on a small footprint makes this walking pad distinct from larger, bulkier treadmills. It serves as a space-saving piece of equipment that integrates seamlessly into daily life without requiring a dedicated workout room.

Cost Comparison#

When comparing the cost of the Urevo SpaceWalk 5L to travel expenses, the value proposition becomes clear. A round-trip ticket to hike in Iceland represents a significant financial outlay, often costing hundreds or even thousands of dollars depending on the season and point of origin.

In contrast, the Urevo walking pad represents a one-time investment that provides unlimited use. This makes it a financially sound decision for long-term health and fitness, bypassing the recurring costs associated with travel or membership fees.

Conclusion#

The Urevo SpaceWalk 5L stands out as a compelling option for anyone looking to improve their physical activity levels at home. Its combination of affordability and compactness makes it a strong contender in the home fitness market.

By offering a product that costs less than a trip to Iceland, Urevo effectively democratizes access to daily walking exercise. It is a smart choice for those prioritizing health, budget, and convenience.

JPMorgan's CFO warns cutting credit card interest could make the business not worth being in

JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon. Noam Galai/Getty Images America's biggest bank by assets, JPMorgan Chase, reported fourth-quarter earnings on Tuesday. CFO Jeremy Barnum discussed how reduced interest rates could impact its cards business. Like much of Wall Street, the firm ended 2025 strong and entered 2026 with the wind at its back. JPMorgan Chase's chief financial officer outlined the impact of a rate cut on its credit card business on Tuesday, warning that such a move could have detrimental effects on the bank's lending business. "It's a very competitive business, but we wouldn't be in it if it weren't a good business for us. And in a world where price controls make it no longer a good business, that would present a significant challenge," Jeremy Barnum, the CFO, told analysts and shareholders during the company's fourth-quarter earnings call. "Clearly beyond that, you know, the way we actually respond would have a lot to do with the details. And I just don't think we have enough information at this point." Barnum continued that a dramatic shift in the interest rates lenders charge could lead to negative consequences for consumers — "especially the people who need it the most," he said. The bank is in the process of taking over the Apple card from Goldman Sachs, which previously supported the tech giant's credit offering. On Friday, President Donald Trump said in a Truth Social post that he would call for a 10% cap on credit card interest for one year, starting on January 20. Congress would typically need to approve such a cap, which would eat into banks' profits. Lawmakers from both parties have criticized card interest rates, which have sat around 20% in recent years, according to Bloomberg. This story is developing and will be updated with additional details. Read the original article on Business Insider
