Adobe Unveils AI-Powered Video Tools for Premiere

Adobe has introduced a significant update to its professional video editing suite, bringing powerful AI-driven capabilities to Premiere Pro and After Effects. The new features are engineered to streamline complex editing tasks, allowing creators to focus more on storytelling and less on technical execution.

Central to this release is the introduction of on-device AI processing for new masking tools and a deeper integration of Adobe's creative ecosystem. These updates promise to deliver greater speed and precision for video professionals working in fast-paced environments.

The most notable addition to Adobe Premiere Pro is the new AI-powered Object Mask. This tool fundamentally changes how editors isolate subjects, allowing them to simply hover over a person or object within a video clip and click to generate a precise mask overlay in seconds.

This creates a more connected pipeline from ideation to final edit. Additionally, Adobe Stock is now fully integrated within Premiere, giving editors immediate access to a vast library of high-quality assets without leaving their project timeline.

These enhancements are designed to create a more cohesive and efficient creative environment, reducing the need to switch between multiple applications during the editing process.

Complementing the Premiere updates, Adobe After Effects receives powerful new tools for motion graphics and visual effects. The software now supports the import of SVG files, the standard format for vector graphics created in applications like Illustrator.

This allows for the direct use of scalable graphics within visual effects compositions. More impressively, After Effects now enables users to build graphics and photorealistic objects directly inside images using 3D parametric meshes.

These meshes provide a foundational toolkit for creating complex 3D shapes, including:
